ZIG ZAG

TOAC is preparing a film project based on JOSÉ CARLOS SOMOZA's best-selling thriller.

A novel impossible to put down until the final page that places the reader at the doors - terrible and fascinating - of horror. "The disturbing and chilling thriller of a temperate but implacable writer when it comes to developing stories and describing disturbing scenarios".

Many  would kill to see the future. Many  will die for having seen the past.

Elisa Robledo, a young professor of  theoretical physics, is keeping a terrible secret. A secret that dates back to ten years ago.

Until the morning she understands that will have to run away to save her life and that she will need the help of her only friend, a colleague from her department.

With him, Elisa will begin to remember the keys to what happened when she was a student of the prestigious scientist David Blanes, whose analysis based on the "rope theory" might make it possible to contemplate the past of Mankind, to witness the crucifixion of Christ or to catch a glimpse of Earth during the Jurassic period but will end up bringing an unsuspected and chilling result. Now, years later, Elisa will try to avoid the lethal danger hovering over her and all those who were involved with the experiments. A danger derived from a relentless persecution.

ZIG ZAG is a PLANO A PLANO film project, in collaboration with TOAC.

The Adventures of Pedro Menéndez

TOAC is preparing a film Project about the Spanish Conquistador, based on IGNACIO SANCHEZ VICENTE's book “The Adventures of Pedro Menéndez”.

Pedro Menendez was a seaman and conquistador at the command of Philip II, King of Spain.  At the age of 16 he embarked on a ship and soon was feared by all pirates in the Cantabrian sea -amongst others, he pursued and personally killed the infamous corsair, Jean Alphonse.

He went down in history for founding Saint Augustine, the oldest city in the United States.

In this book you will learn of the adventures lived by this hero.  As an anecdote, he married the daughter of a native Indian chief and was appointed the first Governor of Florida.

Last December 2009, TOAC presented the book “The Adventures of Pedro Menéndez” in Alcal&aa cute; de Henares, with the support of the SPAIN-FLORIDA 500 YEARS FOUNDATION (www.spain-florida.org).

TOAC is the publisher of this book. During this ceremony, TOAC donated the statue of the book’s protagonist, made by the prestigious sculptor FAVILA, for its permanent exhibition in Tallahasse at the San Luis Mission.
